Last week I was in Hogenakkal, which literally means Smoking Rocks. The mighty falls create a smoky smog over the rocks and hence the name. But what interested me most was the turbulence after the falls. It was serene and dangerous at the same time. I sooo wanted to walk through this shallow part of the river, but my dad prevented me from doing so!
